Weight Management

We are currently one of the only surgeries in Hampshire to run the Counter Weight Programme. If you would  like to know more about weight and diet advice, we offer this weight management clinic  giving  you advice on how to lose weight and stay healthy.

If you are overweight, losing 5--10% of your current weight can help improve your health in many ways:

  • Lowering high blood pressure
  • Lowering blood sugar for people with diabetes
  • Lowering 'bad' cholesterol (LDL)
  • Raising 'good' cholesterol (HDL)
  • Reducing lower back and joint pain
  • Improving breathing ability
